Today we woke up and ate some bread and cheese we bought at a little market. After, we caught a six hour ferry ride across the English Channel. The ferry was huge and very luxurious and comfortable. This so far must be the comfort highlight of the trip. We saw the Garfield movie (absolutely terrible) and mostly just sat around reading and such.
At 10:40pm local time we arrived in Le Havre, France. According to our Let's Go Europe travel guide, it's a town that can boast the busiest shipping port and little else. We stayed in a nice hotel, and ate some absolutely delicious french subs (french bread with toppings inside grilled in a little press so the subs come out flat and loaded with tastey melted cheese).
