October 13th, 2004 Stockholm, Sweden

In the past few days, I took some nice tours of Stockholm. Like I said, it reminds me a lot of Toronto. It is spread out over a number of islands, so there are lots of bridges and scenic views. The coolest part is the old part, where the streets are close together and there are a lot of neat (and stupid touristy) shops.

Leaving Stockholm, I took a 23 hour train ride to Luxembourg. I didn't realise this coming to Stockholm (since I was asleep) but the train actually takes a ferry to get to Sweden. On the way out, the people in my room on the train and I were awake, so we took the chance to go up and hang out on the ferry for a while. It was definitely the nicest train ride I've taken.
