We are staying in a very nice apartment for a week in Baiersbronn, Germany, right inside the Black Forest. The Black Forest is where all the fairytales take place, for example it is where Hansel and Gretel got lost and found the gingerbread house. It is a very quiet town, a chance for us to relax and take a break from the busy city lifestyle of constantly trying to find somewhere to stay. It also lets us save a bit of money, since we are able to buy groceries and don't need to spend so much money on entertainment.
Today we went out to this market. We couldn't figure out what was special about it until somebody explained that stores are always closed Sundays except a few special days a year. There were a bunch of booths selling crafts and homemade liquer, and an accordian band playing music for us all.
